How long do results last?
Results can last anywhere from 2 to 6 months. On average, they last between 3 and 4 months. The results also depends on areas with the most muscle usage. The corners of the eyes for example tend to return sooner than other areas due to the repeated dynamic movements.
What will happen during my Botox® appointment?
Prior to your procedure you will be evaluated by our clinicians to see which injections best enhances your looks. When you’re ready for Botox®, your clinician will sterilize the area determine the injection sites. Then, using a very thin needle, your clinician will inject tiny amounts of the neuromodulator to allow your facial muscles to relax. Two weeks after your appointment, we offer an optional, complimentary follow-up appointment for any questions or touch-ups.
Botox is a brand name of the protein made by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. Botox injections are noted primarily for the ability to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. They’re also used to treat conditions such as neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), an overactive bladder and lazy eye. Botox injections may also help prevent chronic migraines.
What do I do after my Botox® appointment?
After your procedure you will be advised to not rub the areas of injected to avoid migration of the botox material. We recommend you do not rub or massage the treated area and avoid make-up if possible.Avoid sleeping on your face the first night. Do not exercise or partake in any strenuous activity for the next 12 hrs. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption for the next 24hrs.
